Coming to the corner of 30th St and Lincoln Ave in North Park a new restaurant, Streetcar Merchants of Fried Chicken, Doughnuts & Coffee.
Their menu is quite simple, fried chicken, doughnuts, and coffee, it doesn’t get simpler than that. Looking at their Facebook page I see they are testing their menu. Amongst their offerings, they talk about a toasted Swiss meringue and lemon zest doughnuts.
They will be serving Intelligentsia Coffee from LA who makes a decent Organic espresso blend. Looking forward to that!
The place will get an abundance of natural light for most of the day thanks to the 3 industrial glass garage doors.
Interior walls display wood and brick veneer throughout, except for a wall with this monochrome mural of a small boy smoking.
The pennies covering the counter wall and the galvanized metal bar stools add some character. Although I’m not sure about the comfort of those seating stools, we’ll have to wait and see.
The outside rolling metal door showcases a colorful painting by Isaias Crow and his recognized street art style.
