The Quartyard is a unique temporary urban park project that uses recycled shipping containers as building structures. The transformation of the empty corner lot of 11th and G in the heart of the East Village has been open for eight months.

The Canadian-based company, Pinnacle International Property Developer is building Pinnacle Towers in Downtown East Village. The two-tower project will have a total of 956 residential units, including 72 Affordable Housing units, as reported by CIVIC San Diego.

The Port of San Diego exhibits 10 Monumental bronze pieces called “Nuestros Silencios” or Our Silences from the Mexican artist, Rivelino. The contemporary sculpture has been traveling the world since 2010 and now is in Downtown San Diego.
