Holsem Coffee opens its doors in the heart of North Park. Located at 2911 University Avenue, where the old Chito’s Shoe Repair lived for 75 years
Coming to the corner of 30th St and Lincoln Ave in North Park a new restaurant, Streetcar Merchants of Fried Chicken, Doughnuts & Coffee.
Their menu is quite simple, fried chicken, doughnuts, and coffee, it doesn’t get simpler than that. Looking at their Facebook page I see they are testing their menu. Amongst their offerings, they talk about a toasted Swiss meringue and lemon zest doughnuts.

This Mural by Mark Paul Deren, also known as Madsteez adds vibrancy and character to the corner of Univerity Ave and Ray St.
Strolling down 30th St in North Park you’ll run into the Monk With Umbrella mural blending nicely with its urban landscape.
This street art mural is part of the “Viva La Revolución” collection created in 2010 by artist Shepard Fairey. As one of the artist first permanent murals, this one is here to stay.
