The Canadian-based company, Pinnacle International Property Developer is building Pinnacle Towers in Downtown East Village. The two-tower project will have a total of 956 residential units, including 72 Affordable Housing units, as reported by CIVIC San Diego.

Stella Public House & Halcyon in East Village

The 3,000 Square-foot dual eatery under one roof is adding some action to the East Village.

Halcyon, on the west side of the building, offers coffee, cocktails, breakfast, and lunch. The large circular bar counter and the in-your-face liquor bottle display gives the feel of a bar, at least on the first visit.

Logan Heights Welcoming 200 Affordable Housing Units

Mixed-use project Comm 22 at Commercial St and 22nd St in Logan Heights is bringing 200 Affordable Family and Senior units.

The project developing in the four-acre site will include, 130 Affordable Family Rental Units (1,2 and 3 bedrooms), 70 Affordable Senior Rental Units, 35 Lofts, and 17 for sale Townhomes.

Fried Chicken, Doughnuts & Coffee Coming to North Park

Coming to the corner of 30th St and Lincoln Ave in North Park a new restaurant, Streetcar Merchants of Fried Chicken, Doughnuts & Coffee.

Their menu is quite simple, fried chicken, doughnuts, and coffee, it doesn’t get simpler than that. Looking at their Facebook page I see they are testing their menu. Amongst their offerings, they talk about a toasted Swiss meringue and lemon zest doughnuts.

Jonathan Segal’s Project ‘Mr. Robinson’ Breaks Ground

Jonathan Segal’s newest urban development breaks ground in Hillcrest. Mr. Robinson will be a seven-story mid-rise at 3752 Park Boulevard, in the corner of Robinson and Park Blvd.

The first day started with a demolition of the existing structure.
